ILOILO City – His neighbor threatened to kill him, a 48-year-old resident of Barangay San Antonio, Molo district claimed.
Jhun Fourth Araneta told the police his neighbor, 21-year-old Alsen Diones, accosted him and uttered, “Patyon ta ka (I will kill you), Jhong!”
The incident happened at around 6 p.m. on April 20. Diones was drunk at the time, the complainant said.
Diones then thrust the bladed weapon he was carrying toward Araneta but the latter managed to avoid it, the latter told the police.
The police referred the dispute to the barangay lupon./PN
