New Hamtic police station inaugurated

ANTIQUE – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) led the inauguration and blessing of the newly constructed Hamtic Municipal Police Station (MPS) under the Antique Police Provincial Office (AntPPO) on Monday, November 18.

PRO-6 director Brigadier General Jack Wanky recognized the vital support provided by the local government unit (LGU) of Hamtic for the completion of the structure.

“We are thankful that our police personnel here in the town of Hamtic, Antique will now have its permanent home and an environment conducive for working. Thus, our sincerest gratitude to everyone that helped us make this project realized,” said Wanky.

He also hoped that the new police station would inspire the personnel to continuously and sincerely serve the people of Hamtic in close collaboration with the LGU, the community and sifferent government and non-government organizations.

“To achieve a more peaceful and progressive community, collective endeavor is necessary,” the region’s top cop further said.
