BACOLOD City – A man could be facing frustrated homicide charges.
The 29-year-old Mylene Alimania of Barangay Buenavista, Murcia, Negros Occidental claimed her uncle Jimmy Alimania, 40, lobbed a hand grenade into her house around 2 p.m. on June 20.
Good thing the grenade failed to detonate, Mylene told the police.
The niece also claimed her uncle – who fled – was armed with a shotgun.
It was unclear to the police what the rift between the niece and the uncle was about./PN
