BACOLOD City – The court denied bail for a drug suspect in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 41-year-old resident Rex Meca Ramirez was arrested at Villa Consuelo Algers in Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Ramirez was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Kathrine Go of the Regional Trial Court Branch 59 in San Carlos City issued on Aug. 20.
Ramirez was detained at the San Carlos City police station lockup facility, facing charges for violation of Section 5 of Republic Ac t 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
