ILOILO City – The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in Western Visayas has a new director.
Engr. Jovita V. Chongco was previously the officer-in-charge (OIC) of the Special Licensing branch of the NTC central office.
She also served as OIC director of NTC Region 1, OIC chief of Equipment and Standard Division, chief of the Radio Operator and Training Schools Division, member of the Radio Operators Examination Committee, and other various positions at the NTC central office.
“Si Engr. Jovita Chongco subong lang gid nga week nag-assume (office). Naghalin ni sia sa Manila,” said Atty. Deo Virgil Tan, legal officer of the NTC-6, in an interview with Panay News.
Chongco succeeded OIC director, Engr. Leah Dela Cruz-Doromal, who now serves as the chief of the Enforcement and Operation Division of NTC-6./PN
