ROXAS City – A man landed in a hospital after a pick-up truck rammed his house following a collision with a jeepney in Barangay Lonoy here on Sunday night, September 29.
Alias “Beny” sustained injuries in the different parts of his body after he rushed out of his house upon seeing the pick-up truck barreling toward his home at around 7 p.m.
Roxas City police said aside from the portion of the victim’s house, a parked tricycle was also damaged.
Further investigation revealed that the pick-up truck driven by alias “Nonoy,” a resident of Barangay Ilaya, Ivisan, Capiz, accidentally hit the jeepney driven by the 72-year-old Wilfredo Opong of Barangay Lonoy.
The jeepney then crashed into another house and also damaged the parked bicycle and motorcycle./PN
