ROXAS City – Starting today, Sept. 7, until Sept. 21 this city government will restrict non-essential travelers from entering the city.
According to Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, “courtesy checkpoints” will be set up in three borders – the highway in barangays Balijuagan, Lanot and Tanza.
This measure is in line with the pandemic measures of Capiz province under Gov. Esteban Evan Contreras.
Persons 15 years old and younger and 65 years old and older will be denied entry to Roxas City unless there’s an emergency.
Roxas City non-residents will only be allowed entry if their purpose is “essential” and they must present corresponding documents.
“Pagalimitahan ang pagpakadto pakari sang tawo sa syudad nga wala sang importante nga transaksyon kag indi emergency situation,” said Dadivas.
Capiz is under a general community quarantine with heightened restrictions./PN
