BACOLOD City – A private construction firm based in the city is the lone bidder for the Bacolod City College (BCC) site development and facilities.
Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) chair Maphilindo Polvora said ESJ and Sons Construction Corporation was the only contractor submitted documents in yesterday’s bidding held at the Bacolod City Government Center.
“We have yet to determine the bidding amount on March 5 during the financial bidding,” said Polvora
The lone bidder will be presenting their conceptual design on March 5, added Polvora.
The BCC site and development project is one of the four flagship projects of Mayor Evelio Leonardia with P350-million budget allocation.
The three other projects are the Progreso Village Relocation Site with P350-million budget, Bacolod MassKara Coliseum with P800-million and P200-million for the construction of roads and bridges in the city./PN
