ILOILO City – A man died after he got electrocuted in Barangay Boting, Oton, Iloilo.
The fatality was identified as Rolando Geneblaza, a police report showed.
Geneblaza and his friend Welbert Pajura accidentally touched a live power wire while they were walking the village on Wednesday morning, police said.
Village watchman Deniis Sante saw Geneblaza and Pajura around 7:30 a.m. and called other residents for help.
Geneblaza and Pajura were both rushed to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Geneblaza was declared “dead on arrival” while Pajura was still under treatment./PN
