ILOILO City – A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Buray, Oton, Iloilo.
The 37-year-old Nicolas Salarda was a resident of the village, a police report showed.
An undercover officer initially bought from the suspect a sachet of suspected shabu for P2,000.
Fourteen more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P40,000 were confiscated during Salarda’s arrest around 5:55 p.m. on Oct. 7, a police report showed.
The suspect was detained in the Oton municipal police station, facing a charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
