ILOILO City – Top-performing policemen and units in Western Visayas were recognized during the 117th Police Service anniversary in Camp Delgado here.
The Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) was declared the best provincial office while the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) won the city category.
Other awardees recognized on Aug. 14 were the following:
* Roxas City Police Station (component city category)
* Kalibo Municipal Police Station
* Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company
* Iloilo City Mobile Force Company
For the individual awards, some of those recognized were:
* Senior Superintendent Samuel Nacion of the CPPO – Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration
* Senior Superintendent Marlon Tayaba of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office – Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operation
* Senior Police Officer 1 Nida Gregas, chief of the Public Information Office of the Aklan Police Provincial Office – Best Senior Police Non-commissioned Officer for Administration
