ILOILO City – Three drug suspects yielded more or less 155 grams of shabu valued at P1,054,000 in a police operation in Barangay Jereos, La Paz.
The buy-bust’s main subject was Vincent Prieto, 29, of Barangay Rizal, La Paz.
His companions were Nicole Gwen Guillergan, 26, and Warren Guillergan, 48, both residents of Barangay Jereos.
A police poseur buyer of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 (RPDU-6) bought one plastic sachet of suspected shabu for P12,000 around 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3.
Further recovered were 30 plastic sachets of suspected shabu.
Captain Glen Soliman, team leader of RPDEU-6, said they have been monitoring Prieto for over a month.
“Last year lang ni siya [Prieto] naka gwa, daw September ata of the same offense, which is the violation of Republic Act 9165,” said Soliman.
Prieto served jail time in 2015 but was released through a plea bargain.
