ILOILO City – A total of P145,000 in cash and a .9mm pistol were stolen from an establishment at Smallville Complex in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district on Sept. 28.
Based on the JLK Music Bar’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage, the unidentified robber was wearing a white t-shirt and black jersey shorts and was not wearing a facemask.
According to Police Major Rey Sumagaysay, chief of the Mandurriao Police Station, there was no sign of forced entry from the back door of the music bar.
Police also believed that the incident was an “inside job”. The CCTV footage of suspect showed him quite familiar with the area and where the locker containing the money and gun were placed, and was able to open it quickly because the key was just placed on the side./PN
