BACOLOD City – Shabu worth some P18,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Handumanan, a police report showed.

The 21-year-old resident John Carlo “Kaloy” Fabruada was caught after selling shabu to an undercover officer for P200 around 9:40 p.m. on Friday, police said.

When frisked, Fabruada, a newly identified drug suspect, yielded five more sachets of shabu.

Illegal drugs confiscated from Fabruada overall weighed 1 gram, the report stated.

Officers from Police Station 10, led by Chief Inspector Charles Gever, staged the operation.

Fabruada was detained at the police station’s lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (With Mae Singuay/PN)
