ILOILO – Around 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately P340,000 were confiscated from a high-value drug suspect in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Binon-an, Batad town on Thursday, July 25.
The suspect identified as alias “Kubol,” 19, and a resident of the said place, also yielded P6,000 in buy-bust money.
The operation was carried out by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Batad Municipal Police Station around 4:50 p.m. The suspect was monitored for a month before executing the operation.
Batad police said Kubol sourced his drug supply from Estancia town.
The suspect was detained at the Batad MPS. He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
