ILOILO – The provincial government released a total of P3.1 million in financial assistance to six municipalities to finish seven community infrastructure projects.

Of the aid, P1.2 million went to Tigbauan town for a hanging steel bridge in Barangay Jamog and P150,000 for the town’s socio-cultural activities.

Jamong Punong Barangay Froebel Tusiap received the cheque earth this month from Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. in a turnover ceremony held at the Governor’s Office.

Tigbauan mayor Suzette Alquisada also provided the barangay with P300,000 counterpart fund to finish the bridge, according to Tusiap.
