BACOLOD City – More than P70,000 worth of hotdogs and skin care products were carted away by robbers from two establishments in Barangay 4, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Gil John Despi, Cadiz City police chief, said based on closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage, four individuals entered the establishment of MCR Bles Trading Food Corporation posing as customers.
The security guard was unaware of the incident and let the four suspects through the exit.
Arnel Jay Biasca, the establishment’s supervisor, was conducting an inventory when he discovered that 170 packs of jumbo-sized hotdogs amounting to P25,840 and 80 packs of another brand of hotdogs amounting to P2,460 were missing.
In another establishment in the same area, robbers carted away an estimated P50,837 worth of skin care products.
CCTV camera footage of Puregold showed the robbers placing the stolen items in their bags.
The police are now in the process of identifying the suspects./PN
