BACOLOD City – Items worth some P82,000 were stolen in Barangay 4, a police report showed.
The 26-year-old Lorenz Cordora of Pasay City and the 20-year-old Baby Joy Sonido of Laguna reported the missing items to officers at Police Station 2 on Saturday.
The items included an iPad worth P24,000, a MacBook laptop worth P55,000 and P3,000 cash.
Cordora and Sonido, who were staying at a house along 13th Street, were asleep when the suspect entered their bedroom.
They told the police that they woke up due to the noise that the suspect made when he opened the bag containing the gadgets and the money.
Cordora was able to confront the suspect, who the police later identified as Raden Sampane of Barangay Villamonte, but he fled by jumping out the window.
