Pa, sons busted; yield over P.5-M ‘shabu’

ILOILO City – Iloilo City police arrested a father and his two sons and seized approximately 85 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P578,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Muelle Loney, City Proper district around 12:55 p.m. yesterday.

The suspects were identified as 64-year-old Noe “Manok” Bayoneta, classified as a high-value individual; and his sons 42-year-old Henrylou “Dilo” Bayoneta, a street-level individual (SLI), and 44-year-old Novic “Boy-Boy” Bayoneta, an SLI and tokhang surrenderee.

All three suspects are residents of the aforementioned village.

Officers of the Iloilo City Police Station 1 (ICPS1) also recovered buy-bust money amounting to P7,000 and non-drug-related items.

The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of ICPS1.

They will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
