ILOILO City – Some students in this city have been wearing their parents’ face masks after hearing the news about the haze alert.
Parents said this was a way to protect their children’s health from haze – which started in Indonesia due to forest fires.
The Environment Management Bureau recently announced that the haze already reached the Davao region and Soccsksargen.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said it was being pulled into the country by the southwest monsoon.(With a report from ABS-CBN News/PN)
