ILOILO – Two houses were destroyed by a fire around 2:11 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, in Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Passi City, Iloilo.
Fire Officer 3 Elvis Aguilar of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Passi City said the blaze originated from the house of Jessie Dalipe and spread to the neighboring house owned by Rosalinda Amparo.
Both houses were made of mixed construction materials and damage to property was estimated at P238,000. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The BFP-Passi City added that the fire was believed to be electrical in nature./PN
