Pavianhon Tallador is Miss Paraw Regatta 2023

ILOILO City – The Miss Paraw Regatta Festival 2023 is Ma. Cristina Isabel N. Tallador, the Miss Iloilo 2023 3rd runner-up.

The festival committee and the Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. (IFFI) officially introduced Tallador during the festival’s opening program on Saturday at Tatoy’s Manokan and Seafood Restaurant in Villa Beach, Arevalo district.

The sashing ceremony was led by IFFI chairman Judgee Peña and wife Sara Peña and Paraw Regatta Festival 2023 chairman John Lex Bayombong.

Tallador will represent Iloilo City to the Miss Philippines Earth.

A native of Pavia, Iloilo, Tallador said she loves to engage in community service.

She hopes to ignite hope and influence Ilonggo children become environmental warriors, dedicating and committing themselves to protect the planet.

Despite the return of the face-to-face staging of the Iloilo Paraw Regatta Festival this year, it was not able to stage the Miss Iloilo Paraw Regatta beauty pageant

IFFI executive director Joyce Clavecillas said due to time constraints they opted to do away with the pageant.

Pre-pandemic, the Miss Paraw Regatta was one of the highlights of the festival./PN
