ILOILO City – For allegedly mauling a man, a pedicab driver was arrested in Barangay Ed Ganzon, City Proper, a police report showed.
Federico Villado, a resident of the village, was caught around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Police said he mauled Ricnor Azuro, also a resident of Barangay Ed Ganzon.
According to investigation, Azuro and Villado had a heated argument, which led to a fistfight.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the altercation.
During the brawl, Villado was able to hit Azuro with a hard object, the police said.
Azuro sustained bruises on the body and a laceration on the left ear.
Villado, on the other hand, was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 1./PN
