MOTORISTS traveling along Diversion Road in Mandurriao, Iloilo City can now enjoy enhanced service and convenience as Petron’s Diversion Road station officially reopened on August 15, following renovations that began in March 2025.
According to Vicente “Boy” Tang of Petron, the redesign included structural improvements to make vehicle entry and exit more efficient.

“Before, the island was slanted; now it’s straight to facilitate the movement of customers,” he explained.
Tang assured patrons that Petron will continue providing competitive fuel prices, matching or beating the lowest rates in the area, while maintaining guaranteed product quality and service.

“We will still continue the very good service, especially the price. We have the service, the prizes, and the product guaranteed,” he said.
The reopening was attended by Petron executives Maggy D. Uy, Mike D. Flores, Chito M. Bautista, Norman F. Benasa, Norman S. Maravilla, Tang, and Councilor Johny Young, who joined in marking the company’s renewed commitment to Iloilo motorists./PN
