ILOILO City – A 36-year-old resident of Barangay Milan, Lemery, Iloilo was accused of threatening his mother with a homemade gun, a police report stated.
Ranny Bantiling was arrested and detained at the Lemery police station.
He faces a charge for possession of an unlicensed firearm, a violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Bantiling was caught after pointing the .45 pistol at his mother at 6 p.m. Monday, police said, citing witnesses.
