CAPIZ – A drug pushing suspect was arrested in Barangay Linampungan, Pontevedra town on Dec. 28.
Gino Bermudez, 37, was a resident of Barangay Ilawod, Pontevedra.
The police reported seizing from the suspect six heat-sealed, transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12 grams and valued at P81,600.
Also recovered were drug paraphernalia, buy-bust money, and a tricycle.
This buy-bust operation was carried out by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of Capiz and the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Pontevedra police
Bermudez was detained at the Pontevedra police station. A charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against him./PN
