PONTEVEDRA, Capiz – The president of the Liga ng mga Barangay here was gunned down by motorcycle-riding men late afternoon on July 7 in Crossing Isagani-Rizal.
Frederick “Dikoy” Dullano was the barangay captain of Tabuc, Pontevedra. He was attacked outside his house.
Dullano sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital in Roxas City for treatment.
Hours prior to the shooting, Dullano was at their barangay hall.
Responding policemen recovered from the crime scene three spent bullet shells and one magazine for a .45 pistol.
The gunmen fled towards the direction of Bailan, Pontevedra after shooting Dullano, witnesses told the police.
The Pontevedra police has launched an investigation./PN
