BACOLOD City – Charged with rape, a priest was arrested in Camelot Subdivision, Barangay Estefania here on Monday night, March 27.
The 62-year-old Fr. Conrado Mantac, a native of Barangay Balatocan, Looc, Romblon was caught by the Sagay City police.
The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Reginald Fuentebella of the Sagay City Regional Trial Court – Branch 73.
The accused is now in the custody of the Sagay City police station. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
