ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) has significantly outperformed national law enforcement benchmarks in the first quarter of 2026, posting markedly higher crime solution and clearance rates that signal faster case resolution and strengthened policing across Western Visayas.
Data released by PRO-6 showed a Crime Solution Efficiency (CSE) of 83.31 percent and a Crime Clearance Efficiency (CCE) of 94.56 percent — both exceeding national targets pegged at 74.46 percent and 81.95 percent, respectively.
The strong performance highlights what police officials described as a sustained improvement in investigative operations and internal coordination, enabling faster case disposition and more effective crime handling.
Authorities attributed the gains to reinforced internal mechanisms, including continuous case review processes, and enhanced investigative capabilities among personnel. These measures allowed units to closely track case progress, identify gaps, and expedite resolution of incidents.
Police Brigadier General Josefino Ligan, PRO-6 regional director, said the results reflect disciplined coordination within the police force and strong community backing.
“Our improved crime solution and clearance efficiencies are the result of disciplined coordination, regular EMPO meetings, continuous case reviews, and the sustained enhancement of our investigators’ capabilities. These efforts, coupled with the unwavering support of our communities, allow us to resolve cases more efficiently and deliver better police services,” Ligan said.
