ROXAS City – He allegedly sold illegal drugs.
Resident Markhiz Reguire was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tanque, Roxas City, Capiz.
Two sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from Reguire’s possession, police said.
Personnel of the Capiz Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency staged the entrapment operation around 7 p.m. on May 29.
Aside from suspected illegal drugs, a cellphone and P1,000 marked money were also seized.
Reguire was detained in the Roxas City police station’s custodial facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him. (With a report from PDEA Region 6/PN)
