ILOILO City – Two suspected drug pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Kaingin, La Paz district.
The 28-year-old resident Joleo Gregorios and 38-year-old Ruffa Rodrigo of Barangay Punong, Lapuz we’re caught after they sold suspected shabu weighing five grams to an undercover officer for P21,000, a police report showed.
Officers of the La Paz police station staged the sting operation around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
When frisked, the suspects yielded several more sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P90,000.
Gregorios and Rodrigo had been under surveillance for several days before their arrest.
