BACOLOD City – Police caught a 44-year-old man facing rape charges in Barangay 1, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Jose Eril Tiongson was nabbed around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Tiongson’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Bernadito Malabago of the Region Trial Court Branch 60 Barili, Cebu dated Aug. 28, 2018.
Tiongson was detained in the lockup facility of the San Carlos City police station.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
