BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man facing rape charges in Purok Pag-asa, Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Sapatose Sangre, 78, was caught around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
His apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant, the police added.
Sangre was detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City police station.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
