ILOILO – In a move signaling renewed confidence in his leadership, Police Colonel Bayani Manuel Razalan has been reinstated as provincial director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), effective July 14, 2025, following an official order from the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6).

Razalan’s return comes just two months after he was relieved from his post on May 11, a day before the May 12 midterm elections, and temporarily replaced by Police Colon el Roland Bulalacao.

During his brief reassignment, Razalan served with the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division of the PRO-6.

His reinstatement is part of a broader reshuffling of senior police officers across Western Visayas, ordered by PRO-6 regional director Police Brigadier General Josefino Ligan.

The changes aim to enhance operational efficiency and leadership cohesion within the command.

Also affected by the reshuffle are:

* Police Colonel Ryan Asidera Devaras, reassigned to the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division;

* Police Colonel Giovanni Asturias Musico, from the Regional Intelligence Division to the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division;

* Police Colonel Wilbert Bocado Parilla to the Regional Intelligence Division.

According to PRO-6, the reassignments are part of ongoing efforts to professionalize the ranks and ensure responsive, effective policing across Western Visayas./PN
