BACOLOD City – One person was killed while four others were injured in a road crash in Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 37-year-old Teody Abellanida and his 18-year-old back rider Charex Bortanog sustained body injuries after the Honda XRM motorcycle they were riding crashed against a Rusi motorcycle around 7:24 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
The driver of the Rusi motorcycle was identified as 29 year-old Narciso Inodeo, with back riders Erwin Carpentero, 27, and Michael Maque, 30, police added.
Abellanida was brought to the San Carlos City Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Bortanog, Inodeo, Carpentero, and Maque also sustained body injuries and were brought to the same hospital for medical treatment./PN
