BACOLOD City – He lost control of the motorcycle he was driving in Barangay Chambery, Manapla, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 18-year-old student Niel Francisco of Barangay Caduhaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental died.
He sustained head and body injuries and was rushed to the Cadiz District Hospital in Cadiz City where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
Franciso’s back rider, the 36-year-old Romeo Bayoneta of Barangay Chambery, was injured.
He was also brought to the Cadiz District Hospital for treatment.
Francisco and Bayoneta were on board a RUSI motorcycle negotiating the road from Barangay Chambery to Barangay Caduhaan when they figured in the incident, police said.
They then fell off the motorcycle after it toppled down the left shoulder of the road, added the police.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, the report stated./PN
