ILOILO City – A suspect in a series of robberies in La Paz district was shot at 4:45 a.m. yesterday on Burgos Street.
Junjun Gabanas, 30, of Brgy. Hoskyn, Jordan, Guimaras sustained a gunshot wound on his neck.
He is now confined at the West Visayas State University Medical Center in La Paz district.
The culprit, meanwhile, remains at large and unidentified.
According to the La Paz police, Gabanas was a suspect in robbing four households in the district.
Recovered from his possession were the stolen items positively identified by their owners or complainants./PN
