ROBI Domingo and Maiqui Pineda shared a glimpse of their engagement shoot on Instagram earlier this week. The two went to Kyoto and Osaka in Japan where wedding photographer Jaja Samaniego took their photos.

Japan holds a special place for the couple as Robi proposed to Maiqui at the Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo.

“All aboard for our next destination. #RobixMaiqui,” Robi wrote.

The “Pinoy Big Brother” host thanked their team for capturing the moment as well. According to him, lots of “core memories” were made with their team as they were shooting in Kyoto and Osaka.

Meanwhile, the photographer shared on her Instagram account the reason they decided to do the shoot in the southern part of Japan.

“Part 1: Meet me at the Kyoto Train Station. For Robi Domingo and Maiqui’s engagement photos, I took them at the Kyoto Train Station. A Japanese architectural gem, I knew it would be a rich backdrop for their budding romance,” Jaja wrote.

“The gigantic structure was such a marvelous sight to see. It felt like we were in the Westworld TV series. The Kyoto Central Station building is the second biggest in the country, created by the architect Hiroshi Hara,” she continued.

Netizens were in awe of the results of the engagement shoot. In the comment section, they shared how excited they are for Robi and Maiqui’s upcoming wedding.

“Best wishes. I am happy for you both,” a fan wrote.

“So happy for the both of you! Congrats ate and kuya sir,” another netizen added.

Darren Espanto, one of Robi’s closest friends in the industry, added how he can’t believe his friend is about to tie the knot.

“It’s starting to sink in that you’re actually getting married Like…actually,” he wrote.

Robi announced his relationship with Maiqui to the public back in 2019. (PUSH)
