Robin Padilla slams critics of his self-swabbing video

ROBIN Padilla took to social media to slam the criticisms he received after a video of him performing a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) swab test on himself without a healthcare professional went viral.

The critics claimed it is not safe and recommended for non-health professionals to perform self-swabbing due to the chance of making a mistake and getting an inaccurate test result.

However, Robin defended himself, saying he knows how to perform the swab test himself because he gets tested three times a week.

He clarified that he would prefer if there was a nurse or doctor present at the location but that he performed the swab test on himself because there were no healthcare professionals around at that time.

The action star also called those who preferred him to wait for a healthcare professional to do the swab test as “pa-cute” and “pa-baby.”

“2 taon na po ang COVID kung wala ka pa rin natutunan lalo ang mag test sa sarili mo kung walang available na health frontliner sa lugar mo abay masyado ka ng nag-pacute,” Robin posted on Instagram.(KAMI)
