ROXAS City – The city government has been hailed as the “most competitive” local government unit (LGU) in the component city category (field of economic dynamism and infrastructure competitiveness).
The honor was announced during the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) 5th Regional Recognition Ceremony of Western Visayas Competitive LGUs on Dec. 19.
Economic dynamism and infrastructure competitiveness were among the four pillars of the Competitiveness Index of DTI. The two others were government efficiency and resiliency.
“Ang award pamatuod sang madinalag-on naton nga kampanya agud masiguro ang istable nga pagtib-ong sang pagnegosyo kag industriya subongman mataas nga employment sa syudad. Ini pagkilala man sa ginhimo naton nga improvements sa patag sang imprastruktura agud mapasangkad ang pagdul-ong sang kinahanglanon kag serbisyo sa pumoluyo,” said Mayor Ronnie Dadivas./PN
