ROXAS City – The city government will construct a river promenade along the Panay River.

“Padayon ang aton pagpatahum sang syudad kag pagdugang sang mga berde nga tanum sa aton palibot,” said Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.

He did not say when the construction would commence but said the promenade would be 711.2 meters long and cost P16.8 million.

The fund would be sourced from the Local Government Support Fund or LGSF Assistance to Cities.

The promenade begins at San Roque Bridge (TATC) towards Altavas Street and will continue to the portion of Washington Street until Juliano Alba Bridge (Jumbo) and Premier de Mayo Street./PN
