ROXAS City – Mayor Ronnie Dadivas is encouraging all government agencies and private sectors, including public and private banks and schools in this city to actively participate in the celebration of the Sinadya Festival 2024.
The city mayor on December 4 issued Executive Order (EO) No. 28, Series of 2024, or An executive order strongly encouraging all government agencies and private sectors including all public and private banks and schools in the city of Roxas to actively participate in the celebration of the festival from December 4 to 9.
“The successful celebration of the Sinadya Festival 2024 will be realized when cooperation and participation among agencies take place,” read part of the EO.
In line with this, the Roxas City Council passed Ordinance No. 087-2024 that provides for the temporary closure of vehicular traffic on various streets.
“The temporary closure of vehicle traffic on various streets will greatly affect the operations of establishments within the city however, temporary suspension of operations or whatever forms of participation of the government agency and private sector shall depend on the decision of the respective heads of offices and the management of the business,” according to the ordinance.
