BACOLOD City – He was found dead hanging from a tree, police said.
The 50-year-old Rolando Dayon of Barangay Himogaan Baybay , Sagay City, Negros Occidental believed to have committed suicide.
Dayon was found by Jacky Canizares hanging from an Ipil-Ipil tree around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
He was rushed to the Cadiz City Emergency Clinic where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrical.”
Dayon’s wife Hazel, 49, said her husband had loss his appetite several days before the incident.
His sister Rosalina also said Dayon confided his problems and told her his thoughts of committing suicide.
Police officers ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
