BACOLOD City – Good news to the 1,300 job order (JOs) and contract of service (CoS) employees of the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
They will be getting their salaries every 15 days starting this month, announced Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson asked Diaz if it’s possible for JOs and CoS to receive their salaries on time.
Diaz said they were told to find ways to implement it so effective this first month of 2022 they will implement the releasing of salaries every 15 days of each month just like the regular and casual employees of capitol.
He said the intention of the governor is for all of their employees to enjoy their salaries.
“In the past, the salaries of these employees were delayed for almost a month,” Diaz said.
He also said they have streamlined the documentary requirements before they are paid their salaries by cutting down the documents required to fast track processing./PN
