ILOILO City – Police from San Miguel town in Iloilo province arrested a suspected drug dealer in Molo district.
Joemar Gasacao, 32, had no idea he was dealing with the authorities.
Chief Inspector Jojo Tabaloc, San Miguel police head, said he himself acted as client. He asked Gasacao to deliver P4,000 worth of shabu to the town.
But Gasacao told him to pick up the prohibited drugs near his house in Barangay Boulevard, Molo at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Tabaloc. That was when the police arrested him.
Tabaloc said they acted on reports that the suspect was peddling illegal drugs in their municipality.
Six sachets of shabu and a P4,400 buy-bust money were seized from Gasacao.
