POP superstar Sarah Geronimo shared her dream of venturing into the food business.
In a vlog uploaded over the weekend by Geronimo’s husband Matteo Guidicelli, the singer-actress also shared why she went to baking school.
“My passion is for baking. Talagang na-intrigue ako, though nakakapag-bake naman ako following the recipes I see on YouTube. Pero siyempre gusto kong matutunan ‘yung proper technique. ‘Yung consistency, siyempre ‘yon ang mahalaga in baking,” explained Geronimo, who started baking during the pandemic lockdown.
“Noong nag-lockdown nag-try na ako ng recipes sa YouTube. Ah kaya naman pala, kakayanin naman pala,” added Geronimo, who shared that her husband is her inspiration in baking.
“Kasi siyempre gusto ko kapag mag-bake ako ay magustuhan mo, ‘di ba? Sana makagawa rin ako ng ganito. Makapag-create rin ako ng recipe na masarap din at magugustuhan ng mga tao. Kasi happiness ko ‘yon. Kapag tumitikim nang ginagawa ko ay nasasarapan, ‘oy ang sarap naman,’ tapos balik-balik silang kukuha, kakain,” she added.
Geronimo then revealed that part of her decision why she decided to study baking is because she wanted to put up her own food business.
“I wanted eventually to make it a business, ‘di ba? Kasi siyempre sayang din naman ‘yung na-acquire na knowlege at natutunan mo through experience and formal training kung kayo-kayo lang within your family lang ang mashi-share mo ng baked goods mo or cooking mo,” Geronimo said.
She laughed as Guidicelli joked that the name of her bakeshop is “Sarah All.”
“Matagal pa ‘yon. Hesitant pa ako kasi siyempre, love, kapag sinabi mong food business kailangan maayos na maayos kasi kinakain ‘yan ng tao, ‘di ba?” she said.
The vlog shows Geronimo during her graduation day in baking school.
“Finally! Sarah is thrilled to share this journey with everyone. It’s been 2 years since her Baking School adventure began, and it’s been incredibly fulfilling and enjoyable. She hopes you all enjoy this video! ,” the vlog’s description read.
