Sarah Geronimo’s ‘Miss Granny’ earns P57 million in first 5 days

“MISS Granny,” the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean film about a grandmother who regains her youthful appearance, has earned P57 million since it opened in cinemas last Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Viva Films released the figures in its social media accounts on Monday.

The Sarah Geronimo-starrer also set the record as “the highest single day gross for a local movie released in 2018.”

The movie’s Sunday gross was P21 million, Viva said.

The Joyce Bernal film marks Geronimo’s first team-up with James Reid and Xian Lim. (ABS-CBN News)
