FILIPINO pop group SB19 released Thursday the music video for its latest single, “Alab.”
The video comes more than 2 weeks since the band released the dance-pop banger, their first under Sony Music Philippines after signing with the record company, on various music platforms.
Tinged with melodious beats and sleek synths, “Alab” talks about the confession of one’s romantic attraction, which is likened to the feeling of being on fire.
The hashtag #SB19ALABMV jolted Philippine trends list on Twitter following the release.
The quintet debuted in 2018 with “Tilaluha” and achieved greater popularity with their second single, “Go Up.”
SB19 has entered 2 charts of music publication Billboard; namely the Next Big Sound chart, which tracks artists with fast-rising popularity, and the Social 50 chart, which ranks the most popular artists across social media platforms.
The pop group is set to headline the annual UP concert, joining forces with Ebe Dancel and Up Dharma Down. (ABS-CBN)
