ROXAS City – He allegedly sold shabu to an undercover police officer at Arnoldo Boulevard in Barangay Baybay, a police report showed.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the 52-year-old Edwin Aguilar of Barangay Dumolog, the report further stated.
Aguilar, a seaman, was arrested in a sting operation that officers from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit staged around 1:10 p.m. on Friday.
Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, police also confiscated from Aguilar the P1,000 marked money, a cellphone and a Kawasaki Barako tricycle.
Aguilar, detained at the Roxas City police station lockup facility, faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
