ILOILO City – A senior citizen was arrested yesterday in Barangay Sambag, Jaro district.
Resident Elsie Lentija, 60, was caught collecting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies”, police said.
Recovered from her around 12:50 p.m. were P95 bet money and gambling paraphernalia.
The suspect was taken to the Jaro police station./PN
